Toni from A Daily Dose of Toni, is hosting this 30 Days About Me challenge and I can't believe it's day 18 already. Today's topic is "Wedding talk".

Next to our first date, the first time he told me he loved me, the day we had our ultrasound and I saw my baby and heard his hearbeat for the first time, and the day my son was born... my wedding day is one of the most special days of my life.

After being together for eleven years, we finally decided to get married. Took us long enough! So on February 23, 2002, in a private ceremony with one of my very best friends attending, we got married in Gatlinburg, TN.

We wrote our own vows and I couldn't get through mine without crying. Of course.

It was unseasonably warm... just a beautiful, picture perfect day. That day holds special memories for me. Who knew that a blind date 11 years earlier would in up here?!?!

We've talked about renewing our vows, maybe on our 15th or 20th wedding anniversary. This time I'd have it in my hometown.
