Field of Vision - Family Movie Night Premieres June 11

Field of Vision is the newest family movie night presented by Walmart and P&G, airing on Saturday, June 11, on NBC at 8pm ET/7pm CT. And I was lucky enough to get an early viewing of Field of Vision. I LOVED it! This is the perfect movie to watch with your kids (I'll tell you a little more about that in a minute).

From the Family Movie Night Website,

"Through mysterious footage captured on an old malfunctioning video camera, Sinclair High School's star quarterback, Tyler McFarland, learns that some of his teammates have been bullying Cory Walker, a troubled new transfer student. Aware that sharing this information with the coach might get his friends kicked off the team and ultimately cost the school the state championship, Tyler must choose what's more important: winning or doing what's right."

"As these events unfold, the camera also reveals more surprising footage to Tyler's kid sister Lucy. She learns that Cory has a secret past, unknown even to him. Now Lucy must convince her mom (Faith Ford, Murphy Brown) and family that the camera's revealing insight is not a product of her imagination as she enlists their help to find the answers Cory so desperately needs. It's a compelling and intriguing story that shows both the challenges and rewards of doing the right thing even when it's tough to do."

I fell in love with this family. Especially, Lucy and Cory. Lucy reminded me of my son with her love of books and reading. As I mentioned above, this move is so timely with all the bullying going on in many schools. So it's a great opportunity to talk with your kids about bullying. Ask them what they would do if they were in Tyler's shoes. Field of Vision can help you to start that dialogue and maybe get them to open up about bullying they've either seen or possibly experienced firsthand themselves.

I don't want to give anything away, because I highly recommend you watch it for yourself... and I don't think you'll be disappointed.

If you want to keep up with the Family Movie Night movies, check out their Facebook page.

After you watch Field of Vision please come back and let me know what you think. I'd love to hear your opinions!

Just so you know: I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of P&G and received a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
