According to Edgar Mitchell, actual alien contact was made 60 years ago, and has been covered up since.  I'm sure he has many supporters, because for years people have claimed to have seen aliens or 'alien abductions' and UFO sightings.  As well as the multitude of people who think that there are other life forms (or hope there are) out there.  Hence, the popularity of X-Files and other shows of this nature.

Edgar Mitchell is a former NASA scientist and astronaut, so his credentials are very impressive.  Anyone who believes in our Governments conspiracy theories will have no problem believing the claim made by Mitchell.  To lay your mind at rest he says in a recent interview that they are not hostile because if they were "we'd be gone by now".  Check out the interview at the Daily Telegraph.

I have to admit that I really don't believe in aliens or other intelligent life forms, however, my mind is open.  See one of my favorite shows was X-Files ( I think unconsciously I at least hope there are aliens), and excited about the new X-File movie opening this weekend.
